Based on observation, silence, stalking and understanding of the functioning of hunting, this type of hunting is sometimes based on instinct. It is considered the most practical and fastest way to hunt so as not to injure the animal. But to hunt with a bow you have to know how to merge with nature and wait for the animals to leave the forest naturally.
For hunting with a bow, shooting distances depend on individual skills, hunting, terrain, arrows, bow weight and weather conditions. But in general, archers limit their shots to a maximum of 2 to 40 meters.

In order to be able to hunt with an arrow, you must have a permanent hunting license and validation for the current hunting season. This validation costs approximately between 200 and 400 euros per year. But you must also be insured and have a certificate of participation in a training session for hunting, which includes both theory and practice.
In the theoretical part you will learn everything you need to know about the arco and the current legislation. It covers topics such as the nomenclature of the bow, the different definitions inherent in the practice, the tactics of bow hunting, the choice of equipment, the difference between instinctive shooting and aiming, the vital areas of the hunt to be shot, safety for oneself and for others, etc.
In the practical part, you will learn how to mount a bow, how to test the techniques of sharpening the blades, how to find the right length of the arrows, how to adjust your hunting bow and how to try different shooting positions: standing, kneeling, sitting on more or less distant targets.
WHAT EQUIPMENT IS NEEDED?
A bow and an arrow, of course. Arrowheads must have a stunning or cutting effect with a cutting diameter of more than 25 mm and an edge length of more than 40 mm. Arrowheads equipped with explosive or toxic devices are prohibited. Please note that it is mandatory to mark your arrows indelibly with your hunting license number.
The bow should be perfectly synchronized for maximum accuracy in shooting.
